Coca-Cola Collectibles: How To Please The Collector On Your List

by Daniel Wright

Many of us fail to come up with ideas when buying gifts for certain "hard-to-buy-for" friends and relatives. In such cases, it is a good idea to buy them something to enhance their existing collection of memorabilia or even gift them something that would get them started on such a collection. The familiar red logo of Coke and the collectibles associated with it appeal to most people. What's more, these Coke collectibles come in every price range and have a wide range to choose from.

The company produces many seasonal and special items throughout the year. Many of the items, which range from clothing to coasters, are collectible. Some products cost just a few dollars, while others can cost several thousand dollars. Some collection items go up in value at an amazingly rapid pace, so make sure not to throw them away!

When you are shopping for an antique or collectible lover, consider some Coke collectibles for a special gift. These collectibles come in all different price ranges and sizes. You could consider old bottles, signs, or even a complete vending machine. A vending machine that still works is especially nice. Look for the correct size of bottles for the machine.

Smaller items such as buttons, cards, posters and coasters are reasonably priced and would make great stocking stuffer presents at Christmas. Other collectibles by Coca-Cola seem to be particularly popular with children, with one example being the stuffed polar bears. There are even toy vending machines that children can play with, dispensing pretend cans of soda. Hats and scarves, socks and mittens are also a bargain and liked by many children.

Those who are art lovers might really enjoy some of the old signs, serving trays, and posters that are truly works of art. The company has a long history of commissioning famous artists to do holiday theme art for signs and posters and other logo merchandise, and these are highly prized. One of the real finds is an old wood or metal sign that is still in near perfect condition.

Coca-Cola collectibles also fit nicely in a variety of other collections. For example, a person who collects mugs could easily add a logo mug with a special theme to his collection. No matter what the people on your gift lists collect, Coke probably makes or has made in the past items that would enhance their collections. Although this company as an all American reputation, it has also earned international appeal, so Coca-Cola merchandise makes a wonderful gift for anyone. features Coca-Cola collectibles items as well as Pepsi, Mountain Dew, 7UP, Hires Root Beer, and many other soft drink makers.
